Mark Howick has been a qualified Personal Trainer for over 15 years, with specific qualifications in biomechanics, nutrition, running and advanced resistance training. He now runs his Personal Training business alongside managing and lecturing on the Inspired Fitness Training courses.
Mark specialises in Fitness, Weight Loss and Functional Strength Training, using a variety of Cardiovascular and Resistance Training Systems to get the best results. He works hard to balance enjoyable and varied exercise programming with hard work, so clients can achieve their goals whilst enjoying their training.
His client list ranges from complete beginners to competing athletes and sports people. His versatile style of instructing allows him to works with all ranges of ages, fitness and abilities.
For clients who have not got the time to travel to a gym to train or prefer the privacy of their own home Mark will travel to you bringing with him a range of equipment to help you get the best from your session. Alternatively (whether you are a member or not) you can train with Mark at the Basingstoke Sports Centre where you will be able to utilise their excellent facilities and equipment.
£35 per 1 hour session
£20 per ½ hour session
£150 for a block of 5 x 1 hour sessions

10 week Fat Burner – £300
Need help to loss fat and tone up for a special occasion, or a kick-start to put you on the right track to achieve your goal? This comprises of initial consultation and measurements, nutritional review, program design, 10 x 1 hour training sessions and final consultation to assess results!!
Biomechanical screening & Exercise session – £90
Have your pelvis, shoulder and spine function checked prior to exercising to ensure you are fit to perform common gym exercises and to prevent injury. You will be given exercises specific to your results to help reduce low-grade muscle spasm and increase joint movement & function. This comprises of your initial test/screening, resulting exercises, 2 x ½ hour follow up exercise sessions and final retest.
Heart Rate Training Zones £40
Most general heart rate formulas are inaccurate for the vast majority of people!! Have your zones sets for you as an individual based on your fitness test results and how YOU respond to cardiovascular exercise. Make your aerobic workouts more effective and ensure you achieve your specific goals. Includes initial aerobic fitness test, individualised heart rate zone report and ½ hour training session.
Fitness Test £40
Have your overall Health & Fitness tested with tests specific to your level of fitness and your individual goals. The tests will enable you to establish a baseline prior to exercise, or to gauge your progress. Tests include blood pressure, lung efficiency, bodyfat percentage, flexibility, aerobic fitness, and muscular strength & endurance. Fitness Test is approx 1-hour.
